I purchased an older model motorhome a little over a year ago, and although I am mechanically inclined, I knew at some point I would have to find an honest, reliable maintenance shop for service. Was extremely overcharged for basic repairs. Here's an example missing a rubber Gromit on my stove burner cover found it popped it back on and was charged $123. I had a $2000 plus bill some of was somewhat In line with average costs. But it appears that no matter how big how small the repair is, you are going to pay a premium price. I mentioned I would hoped for some courtesy on the small repairs, but was told this was my first time here And only extends that out to long time customers. My wife and I wanted to have some work done on our 2006 diesel pusher. I stopped in to see if American Pro would be interested and met Dave, the owner. I enjoyed talking with him and felt he was professional and knowledgeable. We agreed to have me bring the coach in so he and his techs could see what the job would involve before deciding on taking it on. After looking it over Dave said his guys could tackle it. Over the moon to have found American Pro to service my RV. David, the owner, is easily accessible, responsive, honest and a very down to earth and nice guy. More than once he has said to me, "Save your money; you really don't need that" or told me a workaround. So refreshing! He is also happy to work with my extended warranty company and makes suggestions to keep costs & repairs down.
