Patricia Perez was absolutely amazing! She was very knowledgeable and her and the team went above and beyond in working hard to help me get my first home. I had the most amazing experience with American Portfolio Mortgage and my loan officer Patricia Perez provided the best customer service. She was extremely patient and knowledgeable about the entire process. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to work with Patricia to buy or refinance their home.
Patricia is extremely unreliable and unprofessional. She takes forever to reply a simple text message. Doesn’t call back when she promises she will and she keeps changing the numbers around. She had me pay off my Grand Piano so that I could get approved for 270k on a townhome in Des Plaines. I confirmed with here SEVERAL times on a two hour phone call. I negotiated the townhome in Des Plaines down to 270k and then she disappeared after I went into contract. We had to back down because Patricia could care less to get back. Wh... read more

They got my loan done but not without significant headaches and a lengthy run around. Three stars simply because they did get the mortgage done however I am very dissapointed in the process and the fact that I was just a loan they could immediately sell off less than 30 days after closing.
