The perfect place to stay if you’re wanting to explore the black hills. Minutes to crazy horse, mt rushmore, and even closer to some nice off-roading trails. Cabins are nestled outside of keystone, off a quiet road. Cabins were clean, and well maintained. They are cozy, but there is definitely enough room to enjoy some downtime between adventures.
Had a great time at American Pines. The cabins were very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable the kitchen and outside grill had all the items we needed. The outdoor area was well kept with great views of the hills. Close enough to area attractions while still giving us a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely stay here next time we visit.
What a great cabin! The AC worked great! The beds were so comfy. They brought more towels when we needed them. There was a really nice grill. Coffee on the front porch in the morning was perfect. Nice fridge, dishes, and amenities. Clean and comfy! We would definitely stay again! The location is convenient to all the great places in the Black Hills. Their hospitality was incredible!
We stayed a week at American Pines in June 2025. We loved the cabin. Comfortable, clean, quiet, family (and pet) friendly atmosphere made our trip just a bit nicer. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We would recommend anyone to stay here. We will be staying with them on our next visits to the Black Hills in the future. Thank you for helping us have a great vacation.
Clean, Quiet, Staff took excellent care of us and any requests. Being able to rent the UTV's on site was incredible also! This is our second stay with them and will continue to come back!
