The best place in America to learn about stamps and the science of stamps and postal history aka philately. Also a great place for making friendships with fellow collectors. On my visits to the APS, I was treated like a VIP just because I am a stamp collector. They employ best practices in customer service for members. And let's not forget their sales program, and wonderful publication The American Philatelist. All in all a great society.
