We absolutely love our new driveway and walkway. Karen Priest and her team were excellent. I changed my mind about the design a few times during the project and they were very accommodating and skillful with our custom design for a historic property in downtown Wilmington. We have received numerous compliments about the design and outcome. It totally transformed our backyard.

If you'd like to see before, after, and longevity of project pictures... please PM me. I would 100% go with another company, I don't recommend this company, the quality, workmanship, and professionalism is dreadful. We spent 15k on a concrete/brick patio and just over two years, just saw that they didn't cap two of my irrigation heads as we discussed over email and in person. Now it's leaking at the seam of my patio and house and in between the mortar. I'm completely disgusted...just overwhelmed with disappointment.

They did a great job for us! We had lots of damage from Flo and Karen was able to imagine a new and improved space in spite of all the damage. She has a great eye! Working with this company was the best of our hurricane recovery experience. Jeannie L

Karen Priest was FABULOUS to work with!! She ran the entire project....from first meeting, to the design work, to the coordinating and scheduling of the different crews necessary! She was a terrific “touch-point” person for the project as she is a great communicator; whether through text/Email/actual phone call!!! Additionally, Karen was great at giving me the information I needed, not just what I wanted to hear....she provided honest opinions and didn’t try to sell me something just to increase my total bill! American Patio did a great job with our driveway extension and paving of a path in our backyard. It had taken weeks and weeks to get our HOA approval and American was very patient with us during that process. Finally upon HOA approval American was able to schedule us within that week, and the entire project was started and finished in 1 day. Working with Kim and her team was a wonderful and head ache free experience. You could tell that both her and her crew cared about the project and weren't just doing a "job" . They were friendly , professional and actively took part in brain storming ideas to make our patio better. I would gladly recommend their services to anyone who wants to build a patio.

I had American Patio and Walk do 2 projects. Install a concrete patio (240 sq ft) and clean and seal my horrible concrete driveway. Not only did they do a great job, they came up with a good solution to make the driveway look great using stain/sealer. Builder used different color concrete during install and their solution made it look great! They communicated all weather related delays and are great to work with. They even added a pad for my grill to the patio. Great job. Nice people.

American Patio added steps to our back patio and expanded the stonework. They are exceptional craftsmen and perfectionists--very attentive to detail. All of their people, from those who did the demo to the masons who crafted the patio extension, are hard workers with great attitudes. And Karen Priest, who was our sales consultant, is amazing.
