I am not an APHA member as of yet, however I purchased a paint horse in the Heritage Place sale. I read some of the reviews before calling the APHA just to learn a little bit about them. I read a few negative reviews about their Customer Service prior to calling, but my experience was AWESOME! Guadalupe was extremely helpful! She took time to answer all of my questions and looked up any form I needed and attached it to an email and it was in my inbox before I hung up! I have been trying to registered my horse for over three years. Just one issues after another. I can't put into words how difficult this has been. Have spend money, time, etc and still have gotten no where. I honestly believe they are making it up and have no idea what they are doing.
I have spent right at $1,000 to have 3 horses registered and haven’t been able to register a single horse in my name. I am so tired of dealing with this crappy association I have tried and tried to be nice and now they are taking money out of my back account for nothing! I have been messaging them for weeks and haven’t gotten no response. DO NOT USE APHA UNLESS YOU WANT A HEADACHE
Their registration process is a nightmare. I’ve been working on one for 6 months! I’ve called so many times to check on progress. If it’s not one thing it’s another. They never get back to me if there is a hang up they just wait for me to call. The online sure is a total joke. Seriously this place is a hot mess.
