After abysmal experience with the cheap "fruit tree" netting sold at the local feed store and Walmart, I gave up and invested in a 30 by 30 net from American Nettings. It was easy to use, it unfolded right out of the package without needing 20 people to pull it open, it only took me and my nephew 10 minutes to get it fastened over a cherry tree, I did not lose a single cherry and this was the only tree the birds didn't strip.
