Prices go up service goes down! In the past American National offered a 25% refund if you stayed claim free - not anymore. Costs have more than doubled in the past few years even with no claims. They no longer write home owner's policies with American National. When I got divorced, they increased my auto insurance $120 in spite of the fact that my ex wasn't even a driver on the policy.
