We had a great experience with American Mold Experts (AME). We discovered a major mold issue in our house a few months after having our first baby. I did a lot of research and spoke with many different companies, as I wanted to make sure my home and belongings would be safe for my family after remediation. Showed up on time and worked hard taking only one break even though the temperature was over 84 degrees and no ventilation, very satisfied with the results and the owner was very helpful in educating me no how to prevent this from happening again.

The team did a good job and worked hard to complete the evaluation and remediation within my narrow timeframe. They actually worked the evening shift over two nights - including a Saturday - so that we could close on the house on time. The local tech, Ryan, was courteous and seemed to do a thorough job. The reason I did not give a “5” rating was because of their billing approach. They expected full payment upfront or on day 1 before work was actually completed. American Mold Experts used to be a good company. I used them to inspect a home in ~2018 and they did an incredibly thorough analysis. But they no longer are reliable. Because I couldn’t even get them to return my phone call after several attempts to hire them in November 2024.
