I was rushed to Natividad trauma ER after falling off a chair and stage and my husband called 911. I broke 4 ribs and my shoulder and at the ER a scan als shows a large tumor growth on my kidney which ultimately led to surgery. Since AMR is an "out of network" ambulance my insurance paid $2100 the full "in network" negotiated fee. I've appealed to both my insurance and AMR. AMR is still harassing me for over $4000 due remaining. And they shockingly left needles, tubes, trash and medical waste behind when they picked me up! I... read more

The people who work in the ambulances were good. Polite and nice. However, cost was outrageous. I only had an IV in the car on the way to the hospital. And some monitoring of blood pressure and oxygen, but the charge was 5500 bucks. I wonder if the company pay well their workers as the company must be making so much...

Very unprofessional. Thanks to them almost lost my arm. This system is corrupte. Both fire department and EMSA agency cover them.
