I was transported from one in-network hospital to another in-network hospital and was charged the difference of what insurance wouldn’t pay which was over $2500. This was because I was transported with an out of network transport. I was totally unaware that an in-network hospital would use an out of network transportation. They suck so hard!!! Who gave these clowns the city contract? Waiting on an ambulance from amr you will pass away before they get to you.
These people take unnecessary risks. I had my family with me today going north on first Ave in front of Walmart. I saw an AMR ambulance headed south and they came over in the northbound lanes where it’s divided. I thought maybe they were going to one of the businesses on the east side of the road, nope they went straight south across Diamond Ave. Both turn lanes were open in the southbound lanes so I still don’t understand the need to head into oncoming traffic.
