My mom fell. She requested they take her to Desert Valley Hospital and AMR took her to St Mary's. Now she is being billed from St Mary's 150.00 as she was not admitted. St Mary's called a second ambulance and transfered her to Desert Valley. I think AMR should pay the bill.
Susan DOES NOT return phone calls. I have left her a total four separate messages and she nevers calls. They take 10 day which is too long to determine if a patient qualifies. Ten days have passed and they have not contacted us to tell us yes or no. And yup, you guessed it. I called just now to see what's going on and the phone was off. Went straight to voice mail. UPDATE: AMR did an investigation to find out what happened and with who they got back to me and explained it wasn’t their guys it was Victor Valley Global medical center I deeply appreciate them for their investigation and I will put my review in for that hospital! They used the address of pickup and not the patients actual home address and sent the bill to a person who is incompetent which threw the bill onto collections.
