Horrible! First time they “LOST” my Drivers License and Medical cards! Never found. Managers office did nothing. 2nd time they took me to Grady where we INSISTED did NOT want to go. They refused to take me anywhere else, even Closer hospitals! If we need an ambulance again, we will tell 911 to NOT SEND AMR‼ Now family has Covid from visiting me at Grady!
The crew sent to help me were amazing. I hate calling the ambulance or not being able to help myself in general. They were kind, caring, and assured me I was not a problem and this is their profession. They chose well.
M52 is the worst, ruddiest people. There was 1 nice young lady with blond her. She was polite but her colleague was rude!!!!!!!! Closed my daughter in their van and would not allow me to speak to her. They would not give me her vitals!!!!! It was a scary situation and they should take some courses on dealing with scared Black mothers!!! This is not the treatment I am used too as a new resident coming from Alpharetta to Stone Mountain definitely shows the difference in care and respect for the individual!!!!!!
The past month has become ridiculous with up to 20 sirens blazing down our streets daily. While I am aware of the recent DeKalb County contract changes aimed at increasing AMR unit hours to fix response times, management is executing this poorly.
