M52 is the worst, ruddiest people. There was 1 nice young lady with blond her. She was polite but her colleague was rude!!!!!!!! Closed my daughter in their van and would not allow me to speak to her. They would not give me her vitals!!!!! It was a scary situation and they should take some courses on dealing with scared Black mothers!!! This is not the treatment I am used too as a new resident coming from Alpharetta to Stone Mountain definitely shows the difference in care and respect for the individual!!!!!!
The past month has become ridiculous with up to 20 sirens blazing down our streets daily. While I am aware of the recent DeKalb County contract changes aimed at increasing AMR unit hours to fix response times, management is executing this poorly. I literally just witnessed this company come and assess a neighbor. When they finally brought the lady out and placed her on the stretcher, she was agonally breathing. There was oxygen placed on her, just talking over her body about how much blood they seen. As they got ready to place her in the ambulance, her head was hanging off the stretcher, not supported at all. Absolute terrible experience with AMR. I needed a ride from them last year, and got a huge bill. I've since contested it, only to find out today (9 January 2026) that it had been denied months ago. When was I going to get their decision letter they claim to send out? I will be appealing further, and will never be using their services again.
