I signed my elderly mother up with Medical Alert, and she used the pendant system for three years until July 2025.. I have no complaints about their technology nor the service reps we interacted with to update or test the system. However, we had a horrible experience terminating service five months ago when we moved my mom to an assisted living center and she no longer needed this service. Can’t get through when trying to call
Don't bother. The fall detection goes off when your loved one does not fall (3 times in one weekend). The watch is hard to put on and off and it is ugly. It has a very cheap wrist band. When I returned the fall detection, I had to call 3 times before I got a refund. I just returned the rest of the equipment and it will take 30 business days to get a refund! My recommendation is to go with another company or there is a cell phone you can get that has an emergency button on the back. If your loved one pushes it, it will send a... read more
This place is a scam I received paperwork for approval for their service and when I called to tell them my mom passed away this is not correct they hung up on me!!
Very bad experience. My mother has been with them 1 yr and half .My mother is french speaking originally they had said it was bilingual when in fact the dispatchers are only English speaking. If she pressed the button or by accident activate the button .. on the monitor it is only English speaking dispatchers she would get. This time apparently she would have said to the dispatcher she did mot want to call the ambulance but she had fell.
