Tried to triple the original quoted price after work started yet they inspected the chimney from inside and outside the house when they came up with the initial quote. We fought them on the new inflated price but still ended up paying almost twice as much as the first quote. The work they did was shoddy (which was confirmed by another chimney repair company a year later). Wont ever use them again and wouldnt recommend them to anyone else.
I called to schedule a simple chimney cleaning. John called me back about an hour later and proceeded to tell me that it probably wasnt necessary to clean it. I explained that my husband and I had sold our home and part of the sale was that it be cleaned so even though he hadnt even been to look at it yet and whether it needed it or not, I wanted it cleaned.
