We wanted a patio cover for our back patio and searched the internet for types and contractors. We did not want a big wood structure, but something more modern and closer to fitting in with our backyard and house. We decided on the louvered cover and are very satisfied with it. The installers were extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. They provided good quality work. I would work again with this company. The sales person came out and discussed various options and was very flexible with alternatives.

It's a nice product for our unusual circumstance, covering an opening in a roofline that the Shea Homes (builder) neglected to tell us about when they showed us the plan for the home we purchased. Seems to be working fine. Only small regret is that the installer did not shift the cover more towards the area where we knew the potential for wind-driven rain occurs. So, we fashioned our own flashing for that area, painted it to match the awning, and our entry way now remains mostly dry, even on very windy and rainy days.

I had been looking for a retractable cover for my south-facing deck for years but was not satisfied with what I had found especially when considering the cost. The American Louvered Roofs representative was straight-forward in his description of the installation & operation of the louvered roof. I already had a pergola over my deck. They were able to remove the cross-beams and use the corner supports & outer frame which reduced the cost. We love our patio roof. The opening and closing feature is wonderful. The company was very good to work with and were pretty quick in and done. Only took one about 4-6 hours one day. They were able to adjust to challenges quickly and were good at communicating with us on our options and the solutions available. I would recommend working with this company to anyone.
