As a member of the River Rats, I have volunteered and worked at several events with the AKA including the Ironman. Great group of people. Safety first and have fun.

Great organization, introducing and spreading the love of kayaking.
I call the Ohio River Rats my family. This is a wonderful group of people who love to paddle and paddle safely. The group is composed of many experienced levels and almost every weekend there is a paddling event. We all look out for one another when paddling and no one is left behind. There is always someone ready to do a rescue in case of swimmers. I also love that there are paddling and camping events. I love this group and I will always call them my family.
