We've been with one of American Investors advisors since 2001. He has increased our portfolio more than tenfold since then. Not sure what this other reviewer experienced, but it's not representative of what we, and many of our friends and clients experienced.
I would NEVER recommend American Investors Company for your investments. If you are looking for an advisor who totally ignores your repeated requests to purchase Stocks and leaves your money just sitting in cash to have a zero chance of growth, then Judy Lococo is your gal! This has happened to me, not once but twice. Judy Lococo is also NOT up to date on the IRA Tax laws. There are a lot more negative comments I could leave, but I will leave it at that.
