Absolutely horrible company with no respect for their customers. I just purchased my first home with a policy confirmed and bound by American Integrity. They wrote the policy (since I would not be allowed to get a mortgage without it) then canceled it less than a month later. The policy was issued on 7/6/21 and I received notice of cancelation on 7/23/21. I just bought a house in St. Petersburg area and moved in to live for about 3 months and noticed a water back-up issue happening in my bathtub. It happened only one time so I though it would not be big issue. However, on 07/27/2020 when I was taking shower in my bathtub I saw the water didn't go away but going backward and filled up my bathtub with dirty and bad smell water. American Integrity Insurance is a RIPOFF SCAMMER. After taking my entire yearly premium they began their scam. SCAM one saying my home only had a brick veneer or fascia that it will cost more. Threatening to cancel if insurance premium increase payment isn't sent . After proving it is solid large Belgium brick they stopped that scam. They began SCAM two and had already sent cancellation notice of a bush against house saying it was damaging the roof. I took trimmed all shrubs away from the house immediately that weekend. We have had this company for 4 years and had 1 claim which they handled quickly and professionally. Unfortunately, I am contacting them today to change my address, we are moving and we can't get insurance for our new condo from them. It has been a great company for us. Thank youÂ

Just increased our Florida rate from $3600 to $6200/year. What the **** is going on? This is a 65% in one year. Shame on you!! We have had 0 claims. We are retired and on very FIXED incomes.Â

Garbage. 247 damaged shingles on my roof from a hailstorm almost a yr ago. This has been in court since last yr. Thry have filed extensions, filed to dismiss and have filed to block all findings from engineer and inspectors. THIS COMPANY HAS NO INTEGRITY AND WILL NOT PAY YOUR CLAIM UNLESS YOU SUE THEM. DONT FILE A CLAIM WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY FROM DAY 1.Â
Worst possible insurance company they will take your money but when you go to file a claim their agents and inspectors work for them so they will try as much as possible to find something to deny your claim. 2 denied claims from them, they word the policy and make sure their inspectors word the reports so it falls in their favor and you get denied. Once my term is up I will be leaving and getting another that has lower rates and better services and communication with their clients. SCAM COMPANY stay away from them.Â
I received a non-renewal notice from this company after 10 years as a customer for no upgrades to my house in 20 years...except they seem to forget that THEY paid for a new roof after a hurricane in 2017!! Then after being with them for 10 years, to "take me back" they required I pay for a 4 point inspection. After I jumped through this hoop they told me to "take me back" I needed to replace my HVAC system, which works perfectly fine and gives me $70 electric bills!!!!! It is a long-standing requirement of our home insurance program that any "property with dwelling systems 20 years and older and no proof of updates is ineligible."
