Ridiculously high priced and does not make changes to the policy even after they are contacted multiple times in writing. I got a new roof two years ago and immediately notified them in writing through my agent. Now I get a letter saying my roof is 21 years old and they will drop me. When I call them they can not explain why they do not have it updated in the system even though they received the letter. Since hurricane Ian hit us, we've been getting stonewalled by my insurance company. They are leaving us high and dry. They aren't providing information required by Florida law. We're 2.5 months after the event and they have yet to give my public adjustor even the initial coverage assessment. I've heard that they were a good, solid company. Based on their own words, this has not been our experience. We are at 83 days since Ian. If I could give it zero stars I would. I just got the policy on September 30, 2019. Today (October 23, 2019), I go to make a premium payment and notice a new document posted October 17, 2019. It is a notice of cancellation!. Unless I provide a final roof inspection before November 11, 2019 proving my roof was replaced within the last 15 years they are cancelling my policy. Do NOT insure your home with this company. They are the most unprofessional insurance company, and will gladly take your premiums, but not pay out on your claim! We had a claim from 10/3/2017 that was initially approved, and then, just as we were preparing to start the repairs, they changed their minds and denied the claim. We have hired a public adjuster and a lawyer, and, now, what they have taken to doing is scheduling depositions and cancelling them the night before they are about to happen. I am currently in process of a claim. I opened up the claim 5/4/2017. It took almost 2 months just to get an adjustor out. I also got a call saying that all is approved and we should be getting our first draw on the claim. I've called many times since. My claim is currently still open with no check received. We are now approaching Sept 2017. Consumers look for another homeowner's insurance company. We definitely will when it comes to our renewal.
