What I love about the approach of AIS is the development of radical acceptance for what it is. I think that this approach gives people so much more than asking the individual to try to eliminate what is. In my mind, embracing and learning to live with the conditions we find ourselves in could potentially lessen the severity of whatever it is that we face. AIS seems to live by this philosophy and provides support for people as each goes through his/her learning. JFL
