Awful management. They will not have the manners to even return emails or calls if they decide you don’t fit their program. I offered to do many upgrades to my unit totally at my expense. They would not respond at all. It would have been a win, win for all involved as I would have been upgrading their apt at my expense. It would have been nice to tell me that they aren’t interested in my business. I was very poorly treated. Would never recommend that place to anyone.
My mom has been in Memory Care since April 2025 at American House and her quality of life has greatly improved. She has a nice private room and bathroom and she's actively engaged by the staff. I am so thankful she's there, out of all the places I visited, this was top tier. It's like a resort inside and out. I'm very happy with this choice for my mom and she as well loves her spacious room, having her own furniture and artwork, and her plants. Having her at American House has been wonderful for her and our family.
This is a review for America House memory care. First, I do not have anything negative to say about the caregivers as most were always very kind and caring to my dad, however I would NOT recommend putting your loved one with dementia here unless they have safety awareness, don't need assistance with daily tasks, don't fall and can pretty much take care of themselves. I have a friend here and pleasantly surprised at this facility. It is kept so clean. The staff are professional and friendly.
My wife and I found American House to be is clean, spacious, modern, and well staffed. The individual rooms and common areas are uniformly nice.
