I paid $223.61 for a very unprofessional technician to tell me he would give me a temporary fix for my washing machine. He said it would need parts. Why not just fix it right to start off and avoid the numerous trips. Who wants a temporary fix. I complained majorly about this service to the company and the technician then estimated it would be about $250-300 for the parts. That makes this service for fixing my washer to be close to $500. I contacted ProConnect because the gas in my rental home had been shut down due to a poor connection to the stove. I got a technician the same day to come in and fix the connection. While he was there, he told me, the ignitor on my stove should be replaced. I authorized the repair. My tenant called me hours later and told me that she had turned on the oven, and the smell of gas was overwhelming. We had this company handling repairs for years with no problem but then when we needed to have an appliance repaired the dishwasher and clothes washer went out at same time they showed their true colors. No one got back when we put in the service request. I called and the person said they couldn't find a company to service us? I called around and each person I talked to said to my surprise "we refuse to deal with that company" really? So that is the reason why they left us hanging? The worst experience that I have ever had was with American Homeshield. I had an unfortunate water leak spring from underneath my kitchen sink and water was flowing everywhere. I called AHS to report the situation and to get immediate assistance as the leak was uncontrollable. I went outside to turn the water off, but the main valve was stuck wouldn't turn off. Still no help even though they promised to call back. Second opinion seemed realistic which they sent, but never followed up. I am now smelling mold and it’s becoming dire situation and need to get fixed immediately before the home becomes a danger to live in and would require demoing the walls.
