If I could give a negative 5 star review I would. They will look for anything to deny a claim or not pay out what they should. In short. Broken garage fridge. 1st tech said refrigerators won't operate in a temperature of 55 degrees. Asked for a second opinion. I moved it out side to clean it and when the 2nd tech came, he said those fridges are notorious for bad compressors, and he was going to recommend replacement. Claim denied. American Home Shield denied our claim, after being a faithful customer for two years, stating that our part failure was due to excessive use. The rust on the part was quite evident and we sent photographs and documentation supporting the fact that the part failed due to age and natural wear and tear, and even the plumber’s report reported failure due to normal wear and tear. American Home Shield is TRASH. They are not honorable company. My A/C went out, so I put in a request only for the contractor to tell me they do not deal with AHS because they haven't paid them in 2 years. I then called to inform them that only to be told they couldn't refer me to another company until they spoke with the contractor. Meanwhile, my house is over 95 degrees.
