I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with American Home Shield (AHS) has been nothing short of a nightmare. I contacted them months ago to fix my Samsung refrigerator, which had stopped cooling properly. I followed all troubleshooting steps and paid $125 for a technician, who arrived five hours late (at 8 PM instead of the scheduled 12–3 PM window), offered no real diagnosis, and scratched my refrigerator while pushing it back into place. DO NOT USE. Listen to all the reviews here. Also, they use ANTECH APPLIANCES for the repairs. They are even worse. Lookup their reviews also. I needed my frig repaired. They dragged me for over 2 months and sent 4 techs. They couldn't fix it. NONE of them could speak English so we could have a conversation. And they will NOT replace it (as their contract suggest) either. It's a full waist of time and money. I finally went and bought a new frig my self.
DO NOT use these people. I tried calling to shop around for a new policy and was on hold for more than 20 minutes to speak to someone. After I hung up, 15 minutes later they call me back but I decided to just renew my current policy with First American Home Warranty because their customer service is great but their cost is slightly higher. Unfortunately I need to give them 1 star, i wish I can do 0 star I have been waiting for them to Repair my Oven for more than 3 months already, they have been here many times and nothing is done right, Now they are blaming electrical issue and have not fix it eaither. They do not assume responsibility for the technicians they command. I requested a service for my dryer, which is built-in. The "technician" (from frontdoor) who was supposed to clean the ventilation duct, said that it was clean and the dryer was not working well. I paid and discovered that he had broken all the wood of the furniture where the dryer is built in, even the door is cracked by half and tore pieces of wood from the frame.
