What a scam! The door cracked on my microwave after I just moved into a home, and AHS denied the claim and accused me of breaking the door myself. It actually just cracked and fell apart; it's that worn out. This sleazy company took my $100 fee and denied the claim. I could've bought several appliances for what this scam, I mean "warranty" costs. A new over the range microwave costs less than $300, far less expensive than AHS home "warranty" scam. My garbage disposal went out. I tried everything to trouble shoot it myself before spending the $100 for a service request. I went through everything with a fine tooth comb. I wouldn't find anything. I put in the request, they sent someone from Aladdin plumbing, the technician was here all of 8 minutes, he said something was wedged, a piece of metal, he broke off the piece of metal, and said here is the piece that was causing the issues, he wasn't sure what it was, then said it wasn't from the garbage disposal, of course 🙄.... read more
I have an add on for electric devices, called for TV service, customer service told me to call All State warranty , called All State they said but you don’t have electric warranty you need to call ASH … for more than 10 days calling every day.. AHS says I have warranty, but All State says I don’t.. Finally I cancelled the warranty because I was paying for a service that wasn’t existing..It is a big SCAM..
I’ve been a customer since Dec 2025, and I’m thoroughly, disappointed, disgusted and frustrated with this company and their service providers!! I have raw sewage backing up in my home provider came, gave recommendations, before I was even aware of their suggestions I received an email CLAIM DENIED!! I requested service for my washer & dryer and the company has scheduled but, never comes. It has been 21 days since I filed an HVAC service request with American Home Shield on May 7, 2026, and our home is still without working climate control. Having a little baby at home means keeping a stable, comfortable indoor temperature is essential, but @AHS_Warranty has left us completely stranded.
