This business is just another place to get scammed. I thought it would be good as my Realtor signed me up, but then I needed to use it. The plumber they assigned called and said they could not complete the repair and he sent out his restoration crew who tried to scam me out of a ton of money until I called my insurance Co. A/C needed fixing. 1st repair company got here then told they could not work in condominiums. Why wasn’t I asked that if I lived in a condominium FIRST?? 2nd company Never called me Well I wonder why the phone area code when as about 400 miles from Atlanta !!! That’s what I had to give them UP First:/ $100.00 they better not bill me for that. We have been clients of American Home Shield for years. Every time we’ve needed service, they have been prompt in getting someone out to repair an ailing toilet or faucet or any other needful repair. However, in May of last year (2020) our dryer broke down and for the first time a replacement was warranted. In spite of the number of times our claim has been escalated, it has been 10 months, over 15 phone calls, countless hours waiting on hold and hundreds of dollars spent on drying services. Plumbing backed up and leaked through the roof of the garage. Called the service, they sent out a Plumber. The first thing he did was try to prove it wasnt covered, then left. Spent three days on the phone chasing them to come back. If you like hours on hold punctuated by passive aggressive call center reps in the Philippines (all 10 people I spoke with were there, no US numbers to provide), then this is the home warranty for you!
