I can never get a same day appointment if I am sick. I can never see my regular doctor. I can't get a call back from the physician on call and I am being told to just wait or go to urgent care.

This office is an absolute joke. The staff are rude, careless, and unprofessional, the nurses cut patients off instead of listening, and the providers show zero urgency or compassion. Calls go unanswered, messages ignored, and even basic requests are met with excuses and dismissals. Privacy is treated like a punchline, and patient care is clearly not a priority here. I left feeling humiliated, ignored, and furious. No one who values their health should ever set foot in this place.
I used to be able to call my former doctor's office and have a call back within an hour or two. Unfortunately, my doctor retired. With Optum in Lafayette, you'll be LUCKY to receive a call back at all, let alone within 24 hours. Susan Blakemore seems to be a good NP, but the front desk staff are atrocious. "We sent a message back" but we never let her know she's got a message or that it's urgent. I'm so over it.
