The staff and services were top notch. I paid 900+ for two scans, one of which was self pay/not covered by insurance. Now the billing services continue to send me balance dues for both services that have already been paid. I've called and explained to the billing service but still getting these invoices. I'm afraid they will send them to collections although they are paid in full. I called the Cumming location to speak with the manager. That was last week. I'm still waiting on a call back. My wife had a horrible expierience today at this facilty in gainesville to the point I will be filing a report with Hall County Sheriff. Highly unethical practi es and need investigated. Creepy place with exception of the receptionist.

Avoid at all costs. Went for a standard visit in October of 2021 with comprehensive health insurance. Paid the copay and did not hear another word about anything until 9/15/2023, when a debt collection agency informed me that a debt of $21.52 had been sent to them for collections as a result of the visit from 2 years prior. No attempt whatsoever was made to inform me of any outstanding balance during those 2 years. I have not moved, changed email address, or changed phone number. Something is wrong here, I don't know how, but I saw they are accredited and someone needs to know about what happened to me before it happens to someone else. On 07/28/2022 I had a catastrophic motorcycle accident resulting in numerous injuries and hardware being put in my body. My son needed a CT scan, so I called American Health Imaging to verify insurance coverage and prices. I was quoted $406 using my insurance, or $421 self-pay. I made the appointment and visited on June 14, 2023. The staff was friendly, professional, and speedy. Two weeks later, we received a bill for an additional $2000. I was told that the insurance price they quoted to me was an "estimate." They cannot function when their computers go down. I have been waiting 2 weeks to get a CT scan due to pain in my spine subsequent to surgery. I will have to wait yet another week because their computers are down and I cannot cancel my appointment so that I can go to another provider. Patient care at this point is way down the list to the bottom. I would give zero Stars if that was an option.

American Health Imaging is THE BEST! While it's true having to have many MRI's over the years is unfortunate, it does put me in a solid position of experience to know what I'm talking about! These folks do it RIGHT, AND are SOOOO INCREDIBLY SUPPORTIVE, KIND & COMPASSIONATE! Alexis, and Brittney addressed all my concerns from the front desk & in my phone calls. Overcharge what insurance requires you to pay. Do not send you a refund or call you back even after receiving payment for services and requesting refund. Treat you like you are the rude one for waiting 3 months for a refund.
