Excellent experience for BLS renewal. The instructor is friendly and professional. He gave thorough explanations and very helpful feedback. It was also super easy to book an appointment, and I was able to get in with short notice on my end.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I took a BLS Provider course with Hilario Blanco, and it was hands down the most unprofessional experience I’ve had in any class setting. I had lost my voice and mentioned it at the beginning of class, but instead of being understanding, he mocked the way I sounded and made multiple condescending remarks. Absolutely the worst experience, the instructor was beyond rude. I was there to learn not to be mistreated. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone
The instructor was so rude!!! Bad attitude from the jump. He showed up 15 minutes late and brought his kids. He sat there loudly talking on the phone for over an hour while he had us watch videos. It was just me and one other student. When it came time to actually teach us, I skipped a step when we had to pump air into the “patient” (fake baby) and instead of helping me, he went off on me and kicked me out.
