I did their ground school course a few months ago for the private and came out of there more confident than ever. I then ended up getting a 90 on the overall exam. Frank was a really good instructor, and he taught everything very well, going into details when needed. Will be coming back here again.
Decided to attend this school for the CFI academy and definitely did not disappoint. Amazing environment, staff is super accommodating, everything is well organized and structured. I was able to get both initial and II very quickly with the help of my amazing instructor Josh (🐐). Planes are top notch glass cockpits as well, can’t go wrong!
I did my private at American Flyers before going to college and I had a wonderful experience! All of the flight instructors and staff are very friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about their work. I had some schedule constraints due to finishing high school in the spring and needing to complete my private before starting college, and they did a very good job of accommodating and working around issues. I completed the CFI Initial course back in April. One of the key reasons I chose this program was their promise to assist with scheduling the check ride. While my two classmates—who finished on the same day—had their check rides scheduled and have since moved on, I’m still waiting. Despite multiple follow-up calls and assurances that someone from management would get back to me, I have yet to receive a clear answer or resolution.
