In active cancer treatment. Have a cancer policy and apparently had a long term disability policy. I got a letter yesterday, after receiving 4 months of disability payments, that my policy was canceled for "lack of paid premiums ". However, my understanding was that premiums would be taken out of my monthly benefit since I am unable to work right now. They will gladly take your money but won't help when you need it. I really needed my claim paid and was told tuff luck.
