I cannot give zero stars. This company has a lab where I had blood samples taken. The procedures used by AEL Laboratories lets the blood sample sit too long. Potassium levels rise during this time to a false high. I was sent to the ER on an unwarranted visit because of their procedure. I had a level 7.0 shown from AEL results. The true reading at the ER with no medication the next day was 3.4. The documentation and bills of over $1,700 was presented 9 months ago with no contact from the company. I have gone to AEL for 2 years and they have been horrible for 2-years. I continue to use them b/c of their convenient location. They have (1) lost my blood work (2) mixed up my blood work and (3) continue to NOT send my STAT results (always dawn before 9 a.m.) to my doctors office (4) have not properly billed my insurance company resulting in me receiving bills for over $300 a pop.
