From our experience in the showroom to installation and service, American Elevator has been the best. I was referred to them by a friend after being "ghosted" by other companies who never returned my calls when requesting an estimate. Our sales consultant Curtis was always available to answer questions. Phone calls are answered promptly and it's very easy to schedule annual servicing.
I had a horrible experience with American Elevator of Atlanta. I used them for routine maintenance and repairs.I then had a problem with my elevators gate. They r recommended changing one part after another. Afternoon spending several thousand dollars their solution was to replace a prat they had replaced before or move to a manual gate. In my opinion, they do not know how to do their job and take guesses at what to replace. I will never use them again.
Shaft buildout with team led by Pablo was amazing! They arrived and left on time everyday during the 2 week build. Plastic walls hung and floors covered. House left clean everyday but on the last day I could not believe how clean. Everything we were sold by Curtis has been accurate.
This repair coincided with maintenance on our elevator. A sensor actually went out last year, but since the elevator continued to function and we seldom used it we decided to postpone the repair until this year. This year Chad performed the maintenance and made the repair as well as making an additional cosmetic adjustment. I was extremely please with the work provided.
The salesperson assured us they would handle construction dust and cleaning, as my wife has severe allergies. They promised to use blankets or paper rolls during installation. However, when they arrived, they used a blanket but placed their workbench on top the blanket (see bellow picture there is lots of room to put outside of my home.) and use mine $4000 area rug to open their boxes.
