I am giving them one star because I cannot not give them a star otherwise I cannot post a review. So, Transmission and Distribution Utility delivery charges (TDU's) are a line item on the electricity bill that cover the cost of maintaining the infrastructure that delivers electricity to my home. Things like power lines, substations, poles, wires, meters, and storm restoration. Mine has been at about $100 average for the past 4 months! AEP has THE WORST customer service on the phone. Don't ask questions on why an inspection is needed after they tell you it doesn't and then change their minds. They will put you on hold forever and then hang up. Their technicians will break your meter box, make you pay to fix it, not tell you it needs to be inspected, put the reconnect on hold, not yell you it's on hold, and then act like they have no idea what happened. No one else touched that box. Only AEP.
I didn't visit this place
My apartment complex has been out of power for four and a half days. There are elderly people living here. This is a travesty.
Brownsville is a small city, it should not take more than a day to restore power on a freezing day, the entire area is without power, not happy with this company.
