You're better off running a generator in your yard. It will be more reliable and the customer service will probably be nicer and actually answer the phone. Hahaha but seriously. I can't think of a company that I've had a worse 5+ year relationship with. I want nothing to do with them. I'm actually buying solar and batteries so I disconnect from them. Not a personable company. Just looking for $$$ from everything.

This company is the worst company I ever encountered . I've been trying to get the power on to the house I purchased for the past 10 days and all I get is the run-around.. It's November and the weather temperature at night is dropping below 32 degrees starting this weekend.Thank you AEP. I wish I could give you 0 stars. At times like this I wish you had a competitor to run you into the ground

My experience isn't with just this one place it's AEP in general they can change your bill whenever they feel like it without asking you or telling you seems, kind of stupid to me. I feel like they take advantage of people just because they can.

I put solar panels on my house and have waited over a year to hook up. They refuse to return my calls OR the calls of my solar power people.
