Had Chris come out and help us on short notice with an electrical issue and could not have had a better experience. He was kind, explained the issue, and was right on time to his scheduled appointment. American Electric is reasonably priced to other competitors in the Quad Cities and after the experience today will only be using them in the future. Thank you again to Chris and his team!

I have used their services in the past with no issues. I recently called to schedule a tech to install an exhaust fan and was told they would call to schedule once it is assigned a technician. A month passes and I never hear anything. I called back to see what was going on and had to leave a message. It has now been 2 weeks since I left the message with no call back at all. I have already moved forward with another company that answers my calls and shows up to their appointments.
Contacted them to get an estimate nearly a month ago. First call was telling me the person doing the estimate was out of town and would contact me the following week. No call until I called back that week and it was nearly 5 o'clock and I was at an appointment. Called back 10 minutes later and left a message. Nothing since then. Sad part is I had used them before. No follow up and no communication.
