I was very unhappy how I was treated by their Customer Service Line. We had a medical emergency and even though we booked a year in advance. We were still charged an extra $2,500.00 and down graded two floors. They would not even refund us for the unpaid shore excursion. I wrote to the President twice and he never replied. So I have not sailed any of these ships but everything I read are negative reviews. I mean these cruises sound wonderful but for $10-$15,000 this is insane that people book these despite being smelly and old. I’m just confused as to why people are paying this kind of money to be on these ships. we live near Baltimore and we’re so interested in the revolutionary cruise but for $20,000 we can’t even consider it for a short cruise on a ship that’s old and small and dated.

I wish I could give them minus stars. Very unprofessional. Booked a cruise twelve months in advance only to have them call me six months before the cruise to tell me my cruise was cancelled. No other cruises available for those dates. Other dates were on an old ship with no comparable rooms available. When I said I didn’t like those options, they said too bad.

This review is not due to me being on the boat, but the boat that was docked in brunswick ga on 2/28/2026. I was just trying to get a little information from them to see if that was a good fit for a 1st time cruiser. But the guy that I approached seemed like he could care less what was being asked and was more worried about a "meeting" they was trying to have. We sailed on American West, a very old cruise ship that has a history of tourist accidents. One person in our group fell and had to leave the cruise immediately to seek medical attention. My husband suffered a stroke while at sea and needed medical attention when the cruise ended. We were unable to fly home at that time. American Cruise Lines should retire this ship.
