I recently had a blowout at this salon, and I was thoroughly impressed by my stylist Nia. She is very informative about hair and very professional. I was so impressed at how she informed me on not getting a relaxer due to some concerns she had about my scalp. I loved my hairstyle nonetheless, which was styled over a week ago. Kept forgetting to post this review from when I visited in April Found this salon. Their website showed people of different ethnicities, so thought they could work with all hair textures. I did an in-person consultation of what I wanted, was given a price range, bought my own extensions, then asked to schedule an appointment. Got left on read by Ella twice when booking an appointment. Just got my hair braided by Lake. Had a really great experience. She was on time and easy to communicate with. I am super happy with how the braids came out. All of the ladies in the shop were friendly and professional. I look forward to getting my hair done there again.
I’ve been to a lot of braiders but I will keep going back to American Beauties for their service, communication, and fair prices for quality work. With other braiders my hair would be brittle and broken after a protective style but you can tell here they value the health of clients hair more than just providing a style. I would reccomend 1000x over!
My daughter got knotless braids and she absolutely loves them; Lake did a fantastic job!
