If you need good place to send your card to this is the one. My car was taken after it broke down. The mechanics know what’s in there means and are more then willing to communicate with there customers. In the end I was more than satisfied with the mechanics at American automotive!

Needed brake work and several other minor issues completed on my 1965 Ford Mustang. Called Dillon, made an appointment to drop off on a Monday. Wednesday afternoon the work was completed. I picked up my car the next morning. The brake system performed like knew, engine temp sending unit replaced, all fluid levels checked including coolant system flush. After 8 years of searching, i finally found a shop that I will trust my car with.

I searched far and wide in the Charleston area for a long time for someone to do muffler work before I found myself in American Automotive. While other shops turned away the work, the owner at American Automotive was able to work me in the next business day and he took care of everything flawlessly. He made it a seamless transaction and I couldn’t be happier with the work and outcome. I highly recommend this shop.

Dillon and team are great! My daughter is studying at the College of Charleston and a rear brake line ruptured on her car. Dillon was exceptional to deal with for both my daughter and myself (located in another state). He sent photos of the damaged line and the repair and his price was more then fair. Highly recommend his business.
