If you need good place to send your card to this is the one. My car was taken after it broke down. The mechanics know what’s in there means and are more then willing to communicate with there customers. In the end I was more than satisfied with the mechanics at American automotive!
American Automotive is a West Ashley gem. The owner, Dillon, and the crew are all kind, concise, knowledgeable and professional. I called and messaged them and they were prompt to reply. My car was handled with care and they even went the extra mile by fixing something that I didn’t even no about free of charge. Dillon and team are great! My daughter is studying at the College of Charleston and a rear brake line ruptured on her car. Dillon was exceptional to deal with for both my daughter and myself (located in another state). He sent photos of the damaged line and the repair and his price was more then fair. Highly recommend his business.
Only place I take my OBS ford whenever I’m in town. Dylan and his shop is one of the only places I trust to wrench on my truck, great prices and quick turn around times.
I searched far and wide in the Charleston area for a long time for someone to do muffler work before I found myself in American Automotive. While other shops turned away the work, the owner at American Automotive was able to work me in the next business day and he took care of everything flawlessly. He made it a seamless transaction and I couldn’t be happier with the work and outcome. I highly recommend this shop.
