Do not schedule to see Dr. Arculli, she is dismissive and condescending. My dog was an emergency after being hit by a car. My dog was wiggly during the appointment and Dr. Arculli refused to finish the exam because she wants to sedate him BUT apparently she “would like to go home and not stay to do so.” She sent us home with no x rays or anything to make sure my dog was okay!!!! The doctors are great and so are the technicians, but the main lady at the front desk (Joey? Joie? The one that currently has a broken finger or surgery on her finger) is absolutely awful, which is the reason for my review. I don't even want to go back there because I don't want to have to deal with her again. She is rude, crass, dismissive and answers the phone like a robot. Unpleasant staff…. All three appointments! Certainly will not be a fourth!
My husband and I brought our cat in for a technician appointment and we were thoroughly surprised by how well he did with the tech Kelly. Our cat usually is very anxious at the vet and tries to bite/scratch. Kelly was patient and accommodating, even befriending our cat! Our cat not only allowed her to trim his nails and give vaccines, he even PURRED when she pet him!!! Kelly made this a positive experience at vet office that we haven’t had in a long time. Thank you American Animal Hospital!
