Having people dependant on methadone is better than them being on heroine but it has a lot of strings attached to it. There needs to be better counseling sessions than the ones that are over redundant to these clients. There should be a qualified social worker or psychologist working there at all times counseling these clients, not just someone they just hired to learn about what the facility does and how to document their so called sessions. It seems that this particular facility is neither dedicated to aiding in what has become a pandemic of Heroin and methadone addiction, nor are they truthful by not representing or authorizing new treatments or patient assistant programs, such as those available by RxAssist. or similar pharmaceutical programs. . simply the best, the entire staff care. Each person i dealt with during my time there matched my effort as they do with every patient. Like anything you have to want it and if you do they will be there each step without exception. Rob ( counselor ) is without question the only person i have ever met that lives life with 100 percent honor. Always selfless and with principles that are never compromised. First of all you can't get a hold of them. I have been getting a busy signal right now for 3 hrs, no one stays on the phone 3 hrs. but that is minor. I am going to file wrongful death suit against them. My son Clinton O'Brien went in around the Sept 16, 2014 and was issued his Certificate of completion on Oct 16, 2014 along with a letter to the Judge telling him how well he has done, how he has become a leader.. Absolutely the worst place for recovery you can go. Now relapse, this is the place!! I have been a patient of Aegis for years and got up to 135 and they would have taken me higher had I not lied and said that I do eat within 15 minutes of dosing... I didn't but that is their criteria plus if you don't sleep through the night I wasn't a good sleeper that will get you more methadine than you can imagine... I know people need help, but when you are degrading people that are making your business look great by how far they got so fast then people that's been there for years,shows that even the professional nurses there are degrading the wrong people. the staff are all friendly and professional-they treat you with respect. the office is always clean and I'm usually in and out in five minutes.
Even tho the Modesto Agis clinic did save my life,someone called them and they freely gave out my personal information
