it's a mostly good place. not all the staff are my favorite, but that's going to happen anywhere. the new director was handed a pile of mess and is trying to make the best of it while making things better at the same time, and she's doing the best she can with what she was given from what I can tell. most of these patients just don't have.... patience. New director is disrespectful, sarcastic, starts issues, doesn't resolve anything, intimidated by patients, and has let the program go to crap! All the staff that we have come to know and like have been replaced with addicts fresh out of recovery with less clean time than I. I am ok with an addict in recovery as a counselor but with myself being more advanced I don't see how their going to assist in my recovery
New director is a joke, rude, doesn't care about the patients, get treated like it's probation when it's somewhere someone comes for help. Someone needs to check this place
*I know this is long, but it's detailed. I hope someone high up sees it and tries to correct some of these issues. There's other stuff to share but this the important problems. I have been here a few years now. I absolutely love my counselor. Anything I've asked of her she's gone up and above the task at hand. I also believe she's the one who has been there consistently since I started this program. As for the Doctor, he's awesome. Blunt and to the point. I would highly recommend going anywhere else for help with your recovery than this joke of a “recovery “ center. Under their new director all they care about is getting you as addicted as possible to the legal drugs they push.their nurses and previous security smoke pot out front and to the side of the building.
