We took our travel trailer in for service on May 21, Tommy the service manager said not a problem we can get this serviced for you in time to go camping by July 4th, I finally called them on June 24 they had not even started to service it , didn't bother to call us to let us know anything, if this is the way they run their service dept. would not want to purchase anything from this company.
What a joke. We go and buy a camper because we wanted to take our animals on trips with us. As soon as we get our camper, we are faced with putting it into the shop because the heater will not work. When we take it up there, the maintenance guy wants to just blow the heater out and send us on our way. Two weeks later we are having the same problem, so I called the manufacture and they tell me to take it to another dealer for work. Worst dealer ever to buy a camper from. These people do not know how to work on a camper. Their campers are falling apart before you have a chance to even take it out for your first trip. These campers are also over priced. If you want to buy a camper and be able to enjoy it, do not buy from these people.
The sales staff at Americamp RV was very helpfull and did not push us into a decision. We were able to make an educated decision and they gave us more for our camper on trade than we thought wed get.
