Dr. Carrie Nelson is absolutely amazing. She listens, cares and makes a plan going forward - not rushing through the process whatsoever. Much different atmosphere than Sanford. I feel like I'm actually being heard and cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking to switch!!!
I switched from Sanford to Amend healthcare by word of mouth recommendation from a close friend. The care is truly relationship-based and I feel like they really took the time to get to know me as a patient in all the ways that counts! The office space is clean, warm, and inviting. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave every person you interact with is kind and focused on providing you an excellent experience. I feel heard and seen during every visit.
While it appears like every clinic promotes "patient first care," very few in fact have the procedures and policies in place to support this idea. Amend has mastered patient-first care, and you can see its core principles as soon as you enter the building. Great people that really care! I am so happy I choose this clinic after my doctor retired. Stephanie is so caring and takes the time to listen AND explain things. All of the staff is wonderful! If you are looking for a new practitioner, you can’t go wrong with Amend Healthcare.
By far the most thorough medical visit I have experienced. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by reception, to my interactions with Nurse Jess, to my entire appointment with Dr. Hendricks I felt comfortable and safe. They took their time, really listened, and there was nothing about my experience that left me feeling rushed or as if I was "just a number". This experience was EXACTLY what I was looking for when seeking out a new primary care doctor. 10 out of 10 recommend.
