When I was told that the first appointment would be 90 minutes to ensure we had enough time, I admittedly didn't really believe it. What kind of doctor is even allowed to take that much time with a patient? I told my husband as I walked out the door that it was "scheduled for 90 minutes, but I'm sure I'll be back in like 45." Dr. Carrie Nelson is absolutely amazing. She listens, cares and makes a plan going forward - not rushing through the process whatsoever. Much different atmosphere than Sanford. I feel like I'm actually being heard and cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking to switch!!!
I switched from Sanford to Amend healthcare by word of mouth recommendation from a close friend. The care is truly relationship-based and I feel like they really took the time to get to know me as a patient in all the ways that counts! The office space is clean, warm, and inviting. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave every person you interact with is kind and focused on providing you an excellent experience. I feel heard and seen during every visit.
By far the most thorough medical visit I have experienced. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by reception, to my interactions with Nurse Jess, to my entire appointment with Dr. Hendricks I felt comfortable and safe. They took their time, really listened, and there was nothing about my experience that left me feeling rushed or as if I was "just a number". This experience was EXACTLY what I was looking for when seeking out a new primary care doctor. 10 out of 10 recommend.
A friend recommended Dr Hendricks and I’m really happy with the care that was provided! Highly recommend!
