I was early for an appointment to show cabins to my clients in the area. I heard that Amelia’s Donut and Bakery had great reviews. It did not disappoint. My husband and I shared a crumble apple pie which was not too sweet, the crust was flaky and not chewy, the apple filling was everything and crumble was a little crusty and was the perfect topping to give it all the texture. Yummy donuts!! Their cake donuts and the cinnamon sugar are amazing. We come every summer on our trip to Idyllwild!
This place is fantastic. My wife and I take a trip to Idyllwild every summer, and this place is number one on our list to go to as the doughnuts are just fantastic. The old fashioned is our personal favorite. I highly recommend going here and getting a sweet treat for breakfast! The owner is fantastic and has been running this shop for about 10 years, and her care and passion show through in the quality of the doughnuts she makes!
Visiting from Pa, purchased a sample of offerings… donuts, apple fritters and my personal favorite, pecan sticky buns! 🤤 everything was incredible. The owner was very personable and kind. A high recommend!
Small Donut shop in the heart of Idyllwild. Open 7am-2pm. Went around 11am and their selection of treats was limited. Next time I’ll be sure to go early to get a chance at the full selection. The owner is very sweet. A multitude of desserts and coffee. Very clean and approachable business.
