Updated Review following response (original posted in July. Now, August 2025): We returned to Amelia South this year after a positive stay in 2024, but sadly, our experience this time was deeply disappointing and concerning. We paid over $5,000 for a 3-bedroom unit and found it unclean and poorly maintained upon arrival—dirty towels behind doors, sand in the couch, stained and worn furniture, mold in the bathrooms, and broken fixtures. We stayed here last year in a VRBO unit and it was pleasant, however things were different this year when I took my parents and stayed in one of the 3Bedroom units. We paid over $5,000 for a weeklong stay at Amelia South and were extremely disappointed. The condo was dirty upon arrival (dirty towels left behind, sand in the couch, stained furniture), with broken fixtures and old, uncomfortable furnishings.
