I called the number posted on the door to ask about any available apartments and no one bothered to call me back, a week out. Seems to be the norm in this area. Thanks for your humanity towards your fellow human beings, or lack thereof.
When renters need any thing fixed the renters have to be in good with the manager and when Amelia Place gets ready to fix anything the manager get another renter that the manager likes or trust to fix the problem. If you do not mind having another tenant handling your rent payment then it's alright to rent.
Our family applied for these apartments, paid for our background checks, then was told it would be awhile because they had to fix things before we could rent from them. The only thing I worried about was that recently my social security number was stolen by a family member and they used it claiming to be me when they was arrested..they also pled guilty to all of these charges in the county this happened in but for some reason the charges still show dismissed under my name even tho I was assured by the Sheriffs office it woul... read more
