Been going for the past two years. Not a bad place to begin but over time, its gotten worse. My recent visit was what drove this review. The hygienist that did my cleaning was not polite and was not interested in engaging me to ask questions. The session was a combination of lecture, some sanctimony, with a dose of hubris. My mother, grandfather and I have been a patient here for almost a decade. Dr. Hall has always been pleasant and helpful but his office staff are absolutely atrocious. They refuse to help my papa who can’t read, they charged my mom and her insurance thousands of dollars for a partial they never provided & returned the money her old insurance paid towards it, leaving her with nothing. Went for a cleaning, but the person cleaning my teeth stabbed my gums multiple times. She was not careful and was very aggressive. The employee seemed to be rushed due to having another patient who was late to his appointment. Her flossing was extremely harsh and painful because of too much pressure used to floss my teeth.
From the moment I walked into Amelia Perfect Smile, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Dr. Kerry Leonard is absolutely fantastic: calm, gentle, and incredibly skilled. She takes the time to explain each step clearly, making sure you feel informed and at ease the entire time, which really helps ease any anxiety.
