Nice place, rite in the middle of the valley, close to everything
Nice and quiet.
I visited Amelia Hotel a few years ago and absolutely loved it! I needed a room for an early morning flight, so this room close to Fortitude Valley train station was ideal. I came in late and left early, so I had to use the after hours procedure to check in and the communications were very professional. Retrieving my key from the safety key safe was simple but secured. Great hotel once again with a quirky decor.
Absolutely disgusting… do NOT book here. We paid $234 for ONE night, i know the saying ‘you get what you paid for’ but we are uni students and looked around at cheaper options and this seemed like an alright place. The lobby/reception area reeked of cigarettes, there were patrons in their room who were actively using drugs with their door open (i’m talking full shooting up without a care in the world).
