Can’t recommend AME Automotive highly enough. They recently replaced the clutch in my Prado and completed a full service, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Had a headlight replaced—later found scratches and internal cracks. When I raised it, they refused responsibility and dismissed it as “cosmetic.” About a year later, the headlight started peeling and went dull, clearly a low-quality or non-genuine part. Unprofessional service and poor workmanship. Also witnessed staff arguing with other customer over the phone. The high number of 5-star reviews doesn’t reflect my experience and makes me question how genuine they are.
Anthony at AME was absolutely fantastic, professional, understanding, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. He truly went above and beyond to meet our expectations, which is something you don’t often see these days. I'm only commenting because I keep receiving junk mail advertising this place. I took my Subaru in a few years ago to get a pressure check and flush of my cooling system due to an overheating issue. I dropped it off in the morning and returned in the afternoon at the time they said it would be ready. When I arrived to pick it up, the car hadn't even been looked at so I had to wait for 15-20mins at the shop while it was getting done. Had a really good experience with this mechanic shop. The team was professional, honest, and easy to deal with throughout the whole process. Big shoutout to Kaik for his work — extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and detail-oriented. He took the time to properly diagnose the issue and made sure everything was done right.
